We like to think of #100in1Day as a way to "intervene" with your city. What is an Urban Intervention? It's an activity, project or installation that temporarily improves public space. Since this year's event is taking place at Central Park, here are some questions you can ask yourself as you brainstorm ideas you can bring to life on June 3rd.

How about a performance? You can watch @koogletheatre's Student production of the musical Godspell. Koogle Theatre is right in Central Park, so you can take in a few outdoor activities for #100in1Day, and then pop into the theatre at 2:00pm.

Central Park conveniently has a stage. Wouldn't it be nice if a local musician joined us on June 3rd to perform during #100in1DayBurlON? Reserve a timeslot by registering on our website www.100in1dayburlington.ca

Want to get a head start on #100in1Day Burlington? SHL Co-ed Happy Hockey Skills & Drills is taking place the morning of June 3rd at Appleby Ice Rink. Come play a bit of shinny and have some fun! 🏒

Have you ever wondered what Burlington's Community Gardens are like? The Central Park Community Garden is opening up its gates on June 3rd for #100in1dayBurlON so you can check it out. 🥦🍅🫑

Attention gardeners! Take part in a plant swap on #100in1Day. Come planting season, many backyard gardeners who start plants early realize they might have an extra of one plant but not enough of another. If all the gardeners meet up to exchange their extra plants, they can work together to fill in each others’ gardens!

#100in1Day is a chance for you to take ownership of your city and create the change you want to see. Maybe you want to see more arts & culture, efforts to protect the #environment, #placemaking, or just more ways to get to know your neighbours. Anything is possible.

Now Registered! Creative Community Hive is Crafting for community well-being on June 3rd. Use all kinds of creative tools to connect with and reduce isolation among older adults and seniors and newcomer seniors in our community.

Bubbles are back this year! Help to fill the park with bubbles for #100in1DayBurlON. Participants are encouraged to bring their own bubble bottles. Some will be available while supplies last.
